Atlanta Falcons rookie running back Tyler Allgeier is inactive for Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints. The BYU product hasn't been dealing with an injury, so it appears he's a healthy scratch. Allgeier drew plenty of hype this past offseason since he was a candidate to emerge as the starter in a relatively weak Atlanta backfield. However, he did not have the greatest preseason, and as a result, he finds himself inactive for the season opener. Cordarrelle Patterson will draw the start; he ranks as an RB3 this week. Damien William will also see snaps out of the backfield.--Andersen Pickard
