Ty Gibbs qualified fourth at Texas for the Sunday afternoon race. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver nearly won the pole. Instead, that went to Bubba Wallace of 23XI Racing. Toyota cars were at the forefront again. All six cars were in the top 16. Gibbs started 16th last Fall and finished 20th. A little more familiarity helped the young driver as he was a mere 0.088 seconds off from Wallace's final qualifying lap. Last week, Gibbs led 102 laps en route to an eighth-place result. Seven top-11 results in the past nine events show a lot of potential for the final races, including Texas. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
