Tuukka Rask Looks Sharp In Series Opener
7 years agoBoston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask made 34 saves on 36 shots as the Bruins took Game 1 over the Tampa Bay Lightning. There was much discussion around Rask’s play not being strong enough in the first series, but he answered the call on Saturday. Rask was superior in close range, not allowing Lightning forwards good angles to look at or giving up many rebounds; both goals he allowed were point shots from defensemen. This is a great sign for his DFS value, as owners were rightfully losing confidence when sizing up goalie talent heading into round two of the playoffs. Rask has gotten off to a good start in this series and can be a solid DFS start moving forward. Expect Tampa Bay to continue to test him in this series, though.
