Troy Tulowitzki Likely To Disappoint Yet Again
7 years agoIt goes without saying that Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is a massive injury risk every single season. 2017 proved that to be true yet again, when he saw his fewest plate appearances and games played (260 and 66, respectively) since 2012. Thus, Tulo would need to perform at a very solid level when he does stay on the field order to be worth relying on as your fantasy shortstop. Unfortunately, he hasn’t hit above .254, nor put up an OBP above .318, since 2015. He may have hit 24 home runs just two years ago, that much is true, but finding power out of shortstop isn’t as much of a tough task now as it was in seasons past. There's a high chance Tulo simply won't produce enough when he is healthy in order to justify relying on him this season.
