Triston McKenzie Could Make Spring Debut Soon
5 years agoCleveland Indians pitching prospect Triston McKenzie (back, pectoral), who missed the entire 2019 season with injuries, could see action in a spring training game soon, but the Indians are still trying to determine what is best for the youngster. McKenzie hasn't pitched in a game since August of 2018, but he's thrown in live batting practice and done simulated innings this spring. The 22-year-old right-hander will be brought along slowly this year and will likely spend the entire season in the minors, but he has top-of-the-rotation stuff for the Tribe down the road. He's merely one to keep an eye on in dynasty/keeper leagues.
