Trey Mancini Looking to Build on Strong 2017
7 years agoTrey Mancini had a pretty good rookie season in 2017, hitting .293 with 24 homers and 78 RBI. Now we'll have to see what he does for an encore in '18. It's all about seeing how he adjusts to pitchers adjusting to him. Mancini has eligibility at both first base and outfield, so that may help owners in terms of roster flexibility. He'll be 26 when the season starts, so he's not even in his peak athletic prime. Like many other people in the lineup, he'll be affected if Manny Machado gets traded during the season, but he's a solid late-round pick. We've got him ranked No. 230, so picking around the 20th round in a 12-man draft sounds just about right.
