Trevor Larnach Drawing Trade Interest
1 year agoThe Minnesota Twins left-handed-hitting outfielders continue to draw trade interest with the Aug. 1 trade deadline nearly here, namely Max Kepler, Trevor Larnach and Matt Wallner. Larnach is drawing interest from multiple teams, including the San Diego Padres and New York Mets. Given the team's preference to trade off the MLB roster or Triple-A St. Paul, dealing from this strength seems likely by Tuesday. Larnach, a 26-year-old former first-rounder, makes perfect sense to be shipped away, as he hasn't really had much of an impact yet consistently in the major leagues for the Twins. In 162 at-bats in 2023, he's hitting just .216/.314/.401 with six home runs, 32 RBI and 23 runs scored in 50 games. Larnach is slashing .223/.315/.380 with a .695 OPS in his three big-league seasons.
