Tre'Quan Smith Absent Again Saturday

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (leg) was unable to practice again on Saturday. Smith exited Tuesday's practice early with an apparent leg injury and has been unable to return to the field since, with Saturday marking his fourth absence. The 25-year-old is in line to see a bigger role with the team in 2021- given the number of targets available with Michael Thomas (ankle) set to miss the first few months of the season. However, it certainly doesn't help Smith that he's losing valuable reps with both Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill- as those reps are going to Marquez Callaway- who has been one of the breakout players of Saints' camp. While this doesn't appear to be an injury that could sideline Smith for an extended period of time, it should at least give fantasy managers some pause when considering Smith in drafts.
