Miami Dolphins wide receiver Trent Sherfield (toe) is officially active for the Week 10 game against the Cleveland Browns after popping up on the injury report Sunday morning as questionable. Despite being active, Sherfield cannot be trusted in fantasy lineups and should be on the waiver wire in most single-year leagues. The 26-year-old has 18 catches on 25 targets for 184 yards and no touchdowns in nine games this year. There just aren't enough targets for Miami receivers that aren't named Tyreek Hill or Jaylen Waddle. If Sherfield is limited at all on Sunday, Cedrick Wilson Jr. should see more playing time behind Hill and Waddle. With Sherfield active, Erik Ezukanma and River Cracraft are healthy scratches.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Minnesota Vikings agreed to a one-year deal worth $1.79 million with former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Trent Sherfield on Thursday. Sherfield will receive a $400,000 signing bonus. The 28-year-old former undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt spent the first three years of his career playing for the Arizona Cardinals before one-year stints with the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Bills in 2023. He caught 11 of his 22 targets for 86 yards and one touchdown in 17 regular season games (one start) in Buffalo last year. Sherfield has a grand total of 78 receptions for 930 yards and five touchdowns on 141 targets in his six years in the NFL and won't be on the fantasy radar in 2024 as he competes with Brandon Powell for a reserve role in Minnesota behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Trent Sherfield (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's game against the New York Jets. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after practicing in a full capacity on Friday. The 27-year-old has just seven catches for 53 yards this season and isn't on the fantasy radar.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Trent Sherfield (ankle) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice. Sherfield injured his ankle in the first half of the Bills' Monday night loss and did not return. Sherfield will have two more chances to upgrade his practice status before Buffalo takes on the New York Jets at home in Week 11. Even if the 27-year-old wideout suits up in that contest, he doesn't carry much fantasy value. He has just seven catches for 53 yards on the year.--Joey Pollizze - RotoBaller

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Trent Sherfield (ankle) was injured during the team's two-point conversion in the second quarter and then was ruled out for the rest of the game at the start of the third. Sherfield didn't see any targets in this one as he served more of a depth role with the receiving corps. His absence shouldn't affect the rest of the receivers' fantasy value, and he's likely only rostered in very deep leagues. Fantasy managers will have to stay tuned to see if he needs to miss any more time after this game.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
