Tre'Davious White To Make Season Debut Thursday
2 years agoBuffalo Bills star cornerback Tre'Davious White (knee) will be active for the first time this season for the Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions on Thursday. It's been a year minus a day since White tore his ACL against the New Orleans Saints last Thanksgiving. It remains to be seen how much the 27-year-old will actually be on the field against Detroit after such a long layoff, but it's great news for the Bills defense nonetheless the rest of the season. When healthy, White has proven to be a lockdown cornerback in the NFL, so his return is bad news for quarterback Jared Goff and his receivers on Turkey Day. Taron Johnson has been operating in a starting role for the Bills this year with White sidelined.
