Trea Turner Smacks Grand Slam Tuesday Night

Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner went 3-for-4 with a grand slam Tuesday night in a 10-1 walloping of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Phils were up 4-0 when before they loaded the bases for Turner who jumped on a Bobby Miller first-pitch slider and sent into the left-field bleachers. The speedy shortstop could have even done more damage potentially, but he was removed for pinch-hitter Whit Merrifield in the bottom of the 8th inning who got to face a position player on the mound, Kike Hernandez. There's not much else to say about the 31-year-old shortstop besides that he's enjoying his second season in the City of Brotherly love and has been one of the best hitters, if not the best, hitter in the game since he returned from the injured list back on June 17th.
