Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner was given a rare off day on Saturday by manager Davey Martinez. Turner has appeared in all 33 of Washington's games thus far in 2018. Wilmer Difo will slide over to shortstop and bat ninth. Turner, 24, was a first-round fantasy pick this season due to his power/speed potential. The speed has been working so far, as Turner has swiped 12 bags in 13 attempts. The power is still lagging, as Turner has only managed two home runs and has posted a slugging percentage of .397 so far this season. Turner has a couple difficult matchups on the horizon, with Jake Arrieta projected to start Sunday for the Phillies, and a new and improved Tyson Ross scheduled to take the bump for San Diego on Monday.--Phil Goyette
