Trae Young Sidelined Indefinitely
11 months agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (head) was diagnosed with a concussion and is sidelined indefinitely. The 25-year-old didn't suit up for Friday's one-point win over the Miami Heat because of an illness. However, he returned for Saturday's meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers, although he exited midway through the fourth quarter after accidentally getting hit in the face by Isaac Okoro. The 2018 No. 5 overall pick is averaging 26.9 points, 10.8 assists, and 1.4 steals this season, so he'll be tough to replace. But until Young is back in the equation, Dejounte Murray, assuming he remains on the roster, should handle most of the ball-handling duties. At the same time, Jalen Johnson and Bogdan Bogdanovic could benefit in all statistical categories, especially on the scoring end.
