Tough To Trust Justin Upton
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton is hitting only .146 over his last 15 games heading into Monday's game against the Pirates in Anaheim. Upton has three extra-base hits over his last five games but it is becoming more evident by the day that this will be a lost season for the veteran slugger. Upton missed a huge portion of the beginning of the season with a knee injury and has missed time more recently with groin issues. The 31-year-old simply isn't at 100% and fantasy owners need to take that into account when deploying him in lineups. Upton typically is a shoe-in for 30-plus home runs but is a dicey play in fantasy right now offensively.
