Tony Jones Jr. Expected To Be Activated From Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe New Orleans Advocate's Luke Johnson expects the New Orleans Saints to activate running back Tony Jones Jr. (ankle) from Injured Reserve on Saturday. The Saints need some backfield help with Alvin Kamara (knee) being ruled out for the second straight game in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Veteran Mark Ingram II will be the Saints primary ball-carrier against the Eagles, but Jones could see some work alongside Dwayne Washington to help spell Ingram. The 23-year-old hasn't played since Week 4, so don't expect him to have any standalone fantasy value in his return. Before his injury, Jones had 19 rushing attempts for 77 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and no touchdowns while catching four of six targets for 10 additional yards in four games played.
