Carolina Hurricanes defensemen Tony DeAngelo and Brett Pesce will miss Tuesday's clash with the Stars because of COVID-19 protocols. They were added to the COVID-19 list on Monday and have stayed in Raleigh to quarantine. DeAngelo leads the team with 15 assists and is among the league's highest-scoring defensemen with 19 points, while Pesce has collected seven points this season. Jaccob Slavin and Ian Cole are set to form the first defensive pairing on Tuesday, while Brady Skjei teams up with Jalen Chatfield on the second pairing.
