Tommy Pham Scratched For Second Straight Day
3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (calf) has been scratched from the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The veteran is dealing with left calf discomfort. He was originally in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game, but he was a late scratch for the contest and the same process repeated on Wednesday. Aristides Aquino is entering the starting lineup to take Pham's spot for Wednesday's game. Pham should be considered day-to-day for now. The 34-year-old is slashing .233/.335/.373 with five home runs, three stolen bases, 17 RBI and 26 runs over 42 games this year.
