Tommy Pham Considered Day-To-Day
1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Tommy Pham (groin) was re-evaluated on Wednesday and is considered day-to-day with right-groin soreness, according to the team. Pham left the finale of the first half of the season on Sunday against the San Diego Padres after tweaking his groin, but it sounds like he'll avoid a trip to the injured to begin the second half this weekend. The 35-year-old should be back on Friday to start a series against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers, but fantasy managers will want to check back on Friday just to be sure. Pham had a strong first half for the Mets and leads the team with an .836 OPS through 206 at-bats. With the Mets well out of first place in the National League East, he could be a trade candidate come the Aug. 1 deadline.
