San Jose Sharks center Tomas Hertl won't be available for "several weeks" after having knee surgery, the team announced on Monday. He had his left knee cleaned to remove loose cartilage. The news came after Hertl had sat out two games, although he took part in the All-Star Game at the start of the month. The Czech star has been the leading scorer for the goal-shy Sharks in 2023-24, posting 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 48 games. William Eklund should have a very prominent role to play during his absence, particularly with Logan Couture (groin) also unavailable.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
