4 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Tom Murphy (foot) was back on the field for the full morning workout on Tuesday after he sat out on Monday with a bruised left foot from a ball that he fouled off himself on Sunday. Murphy should be just fine and should see the majority of starts behind the plate this year after hitting 18 home runs with a 126 wRC+ in 281 plate appearances in 2019. There's a lot of swing and miss to his game, though, so he's unlikely to help fantasy owners out in any categories other than power and RBI. But Murphy should make for a solid power option in two-catcher leagues now that Omar Narvaez is playing in Milwaukee.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
