Todd Frazier Could Provide Value Based On ADP
7 years agoNot that long ago, many would have predicted that third basemen Todd Frazier would have pulled in quite a large contract in free agency this year. With the market crawling for all players, though, Frazier was only able to nab two years and $17 million to man the hot corner for the New York Mets. Nevertheless, fantasy owners should expect another year of productivity from Frazier in 2018. Coming off a .213/.344/.428 slash line, owners would love to see more of the same career-best 2017 OBP but are hoping for a better batting average after an unlucky .226 BABIP last year. If Frazier can gain positive regression on his batting average while maintaining his 14.4% walk rate, plus still hit close to 30 home runs, he’ll end up providing lot of value as the current 26th third basemen off the board in drafts.
