Titans Re-Sign Anthony Firkser
4 years agoThe Tennessee Titans re-signed tight end Anthony Firkser to an undisclosed one-year deal. The Titans also brought back fellow tight end Geoff Swaim earlier this week. Firkser isn't much of a blocker, but he had career-highs in catches (39) and receiving yards (387) while also finding the end zone one time last season. There's a chance that Firkser could see an even bigger role in 2021 with Jonnu Smith no longer around, but the Titans could still add to the position in the draft or through free agency. The 26-year-old has also lined up in the slot in the past, and wide receiver Adam Humphries is no longer around. Firkser could be a fantasy sleeper at the tight end position if he's in line for a much bigger role, but his lack of blocking skills could also keep his upside rather low.
