Titans Could Trade Up To Select A Quarterback
2 years agoIt's definitely a possibility that the Tennessee Titans go with a quarterback at pick No. 11 in the first round of this year's NFL draft if a top offensive lineman like Ohio State's Paris Johnson Jr. or Northwestern's Peter Skoronski are already gone. However, it's likely that the top-four QB prospects are already gone by the 11th overall pick next Thursday night, so the Titans can't be ruled out of trading into the top five for a signal-caller. ESPN's Matt Miller would be surprised if the Titans traded up. Tennessee is looking at multiple positions in Round 1, but staying at No. 11 and going for a pass-rusher is the most common scenario shared by NFL sources. Ryan Tannehill is turning 35 this year and didn't play well in 2022 before a season-ending injury, so don't be shocked if the Titans go with a QB in the end.
