New Jersey Devils winger Timo Meier has been suspended for one game. He will be forced to sit out Wednesday's matchup against St. Louis after cross-checking Nashville forward Zachary L'Heureux in Monday's 5-2 win. Meier has struggled to produce offense and might even benefit from having a night off. He's had only three points the entire month. The Swiss forward has managed seven goals and eight assists in 24 games for the season. Dawson Mercer might regain a top-six position without Meier on Wednesday, with Nolan Foote replacing him in the lineup. Mercer has provided similar production to Meier this season but has been more prolific this month, collecting six points (two goals, four assists) in 11 outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
