Tim Patrick Plays In Final Preseason Game
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick, who has been dealing with minor injury issues during training camp, made his preseason debut in the win over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night. However, Patrick wasn't able to reel in either of his two targets in the contest. The good news is that the 27-year-old was healthy enough to suit up, and he should be available for the Week 1 game against the New York Giants. The bad news is that second-year wideout K.J. Hamler took advantage of Patrick's injuries this summer and has a leg up on Patrick for No. 3 receiver duties behind Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy. Patrick was Denver's most efficient and reliable pass-catcher in 2020 when Sutton missed most of the season, but he's entering the 2021 regular season as the No. 4 and can be ignored in most redraft leagues as a result.
