Thomas White Racks up Seven Punchouts
Thomas White continued to flash immense strikeout upside at Double-A Pensacola. In his most recent outing on August 2, the southpaw struck out an impressive seven hitters across just 4 2/3 innings of work. In this start against Biloxi, White allowed six hits, two walks, and two earned runs. In his previous outing, the top-ranked prospect in Miami struck out a season-high 14 hitters across five shutout innings with just two hits allowed. Since moving up to Double-A this season, White has posted a strong 2.55 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, with a 40:12 K:BB across 24 2/3 innings. He opened the season with High-A and posted a 2.83 ERA with 53 strikeouts across 35 innings of work. White is a name to keep a close eye on as he could push for a mid-season 2026 MLB debut.
