2 years agoNashville Predators center Thomas Novak continued his scoring surge with a three-point effort in Sunday's 6-2 victory over the Coyotes, recording his ninth goal of the season and two assists. The 29-year-old has been by far the hottest Predator in recent outings, putting up five goals and six assists during a five-game point streak. It's doubled Novak's points tally for the year, with him having notched 22 points across 26 games. Following injuries to Filip Forsberg (upper body) and Ryan Johansen (leg), Nashville has needed somebody to step up offensively, and Novak has answered the call. He has started to center the top line and also works on the first power-play unit, so fantasy managers who need a boost to their offensive options should definitely give Novak a look.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
