The Ottawa Senators have activated defenseman Thomas Chabot off of injured reserve and could have him back in its lineup for Friday's road game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The blueliner has missed the last 10 games and last appeared against the New York Islanders on Oct. 26. It's been a relatively quiet offensive season for the 26-year-old in a small sample as he recorded just three assists in seven games along with 18 shots on goal, 17 blocks, and a minus-one rating prior to his injury. His production was likely to take a hit after the acquisition of the offensively-gifted Jacob Chychrun on the back end while Chabot recorded 11 goals and 41 points across 68 games last season. His value remains at its highest in leagues that record blocks.--Brenton Kemp
