Texans To Continue Using Both Davis Mills, Jeff Driskel
2 years agoThe Houston Texans plan to continue using both quarterbacks Davis Mills and Jeff Driskel in Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans on Christmas Eve on Saturday. Offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton said the two-QB system was initially an "experiment," but now it's a part of the offense to "create conflict" and to disrupt the opposing defense. "We hope it will limit the potential looks we will see," Hamilton said. It's worked, as the Texans have nearly defeated the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs in back-to-back weeks while employing the strategy on offense. Driskel has ceded most of the work to Mills under center, with Mills attempting 24 passes to Driskel's four attempts in Week 15. Neither signal-caller should be in fantasy lineups, even in two-QB leagues, this weekend against the Titans.
