The Houston Texans informed cornerback Terrance Mitchell that they released him on Wednesday, according to a source. The release saves the Texans $3.2 million against this year's salary cap. Mitchell, who started 13 games for the team last year, signed a two-year, $6.5 million deal with the team last offseason. The 29-year-old recorded 60 tackles (45 solo), one interception, 10 passes defensed and three forced fumbles in his only season with the Texans. Mitchell was drafted in the seventh round in 2014 by the Dallas Cowboys out of Oregon. He's also played for the Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns in seven NFL seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
