Tevin Coleman Out For Thursday Night
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that running back Tevin Coleman (knee) has been ruled out for the Thursday night game against the Packers after aggravating his knee injury in the Week 8 loss to the Seahawks. Coleman had just three carries for 20 yards before leaving the game last Sunday, and he was operating behind rookie JaMycal Hasty as well. Hasty and Jerick McKinnon should continue to split the backfield work this Thursday against the Packers, with Hasty being the more attractive RB2/3 in PPR leagues after he carries the ball 12 times to McKinnon's three totes last week. Hasty found the end zone on the ground, while McKinnon totaled minus-one yard on his three carries. The Packers have allowed the most fantasy points per game to running backs this year, so both Hasty and McKinnon have considerable upside this week.
