Terry McLaurin Uncertain For Week 1
1 year agoThe Washington Commanders have expressed optimism about the status of wide receiver Terry McLaurin (toe), who suffered a turf-toe injury in the preseason game on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens, but he is uncertain for the regular-season opener against the Arizona Cardinals, according to sources. McLaurin will work to be ready for Week 1, but it's too early to say if he'll be active to kick off the season. His injury is typically a multiple-week injury. Dyami Brown would enter three-receiver sets to open the year if McLaurin isn't able to go against the Cardinals. It's not what fantasy managers want hanging over McLaurin with many drafts in the coming weeks, but he should still be considered at least a low-end WR2 as Washington's top wideout when healthy.
