Terry McLaurin Scores In NFC Championship
3 weeks agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin caught three of his seven targets for 51 yards and a score during their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship. McLaurin's best play of the afternoon came in the second quarter when he scored on a 36-yard catch-and-run. However, during the second half, the top wideout was quiet as Jayden Daniels directed most of the passing attack toward tight end Zach Ertz. His 51 yards and seven targets placed him second among pass-catchers, only behind Ertz in both statistics. McLaurin has found the back of the end zone in each playoff game. During the regular season, McLaurin enjoyed a career season as he found the back end zone 13 times, which set a new franchise record. He also eclipsed the century mark for the fourth straight season. McLaurin should be viewed as a solid WR2 with upside heading into the 2025 campaign with Daniels under center.
