Terry McLaurin A WR3/Flex Against San Francisco
12 months agoWhat seemed like a good week for Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin is now much more questionable due to a recent injury to his quarterback. With Jacoby Brissett (hamstring) being listed as questionable for Week 17, the Commanders might have to turn back to struggling quarterback Sam Howell against a vaunted San Francisco 49ers defense. While the 49ers have been more of a pass-funnel defense this year, Howell running the offense offers much less stability than if Brissett were available for this game. If Brissett ends up playing, McLaurin could be considered as high as a WR2. However, if Howell starts, it'd be hard to consider him anything more than a WR3/flex play. Monitor the status of Washington's quarterback situation for a clearer outlook on McLaurin heading into Week 17.
