Terrace Marshall Jr. Sitting Again Thursday
3 years agoCarolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. (concussion) missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday. Marshall suffered a concussion in the Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and remains in the league's concussion protocol. He'll need to make noticeable progress on Friday to have a shot at playing this Sunday against the New York Giants. The 21-year-old second-rounder has only 14 catches on 22 targets for 116 yards through his first six games as the No. 3 behind Robby Anderson and D.J. Moore, so he hasn't really been worth holding in 12-team, single-year fantasy leagues. If Marshall misses his first game this weekend, Alex Erickson and rookie Shi Smith would be competing for looks as the No. 3.
