1 year agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Teoscar Hernandez was on base often in Friday night's 2-0 victory over the division-rival Houston Astros, going 3-for-4 with a double and a strikeout. Hernandez now has nine hits in his last four games and is batting .351 (20-for-57) with two home runs, six doubles, five RBI and five runs scored in 15 games (14 starts) so far in the month of August for the M's. The 30-year-old isn't striking out as much during this hot stretch and should stick in fantasy lineups as long as he remains hot for Seattle. In his first year in Seattle in 2023, Hernandez is currently slashing .252/.298/.425 with 18 home runs, 23 doubles, two triples, 64 RBI, five stolen bases and 50 runs scored in 506 trips to the plate and 121 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
