Tennessee, Missouri Potential Suitors for Josh Hoover
According to On3's Pete Nakos' sources, Tennessee and Missouri are potential schools to watch in the recruitment of TCU transfer quarterback Josh Hoover. Tennessee is preparing to lose starter Joey Aguilar, though the veteran has an outside shot of getting another year of collegiate eligibility. Missouri is losing Beau Pribula to the transfer portal, leaving freshman Matt Zollers as the only viable signal-caller on the roster for 2026. Hoover has played in 36 games over the last three seasons with the Horned Frogs, passing for over 9,600 yards, 71 touchdowns, and 33 interceptions. The 21-year-old is also linked to Indiana, depending on whether or not Fernando Mendoza declares for the 2026 NFL Draft. He was committed to Indiana under Tom Allen before flipping to TCU.
