Teddy Bridgewater Put In Concussion Protocol
2 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) is in the NFL's concussion protocol after leaving the Week 5 loss to the New York Jets early, despite passing a locker room examination. A booth ATC spotter believed Bridgewater stumbled after he was hit on his first snap of the game on Sunday. It came as the league and Players Association changed the concussion protocols after a nearly two-week investigation into whether the protocol was followed properly with Tua Tagovailoa on Sept. 25. Bridgewater's injury forced rookie Skylar Thompson into the game, and he could make his first career start in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings if neither Tagovailoa nor Bridgewater are able to clear the concussion protocol.
