Teddy Bridgewater Looking To Make Strong Impression In Debut
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be looking to put his best foot forward in his debut with the team in Week 1 against the New York Giants after he won the QB competition with Drew Lock in training camp and the preseason. Bridgewater has a lot of intriguing weapons in which to work with, including Courtland Sutton, who missed the vast majority of the 2020 season after tearing his ACL. The 28-year-old has become more of a dink-and-dunk game manager at this point of his career, though, and he'll probably have a short leash early in the year if he struggles. On top of it, the Giants secondary won't make things easy on him. They allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs in 2020, making Bridgewater a poor low-end QB2 option in his debut.
