Teddy Bridgewater Looking To Make Strong Impression In Debut
Denver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be looking to put his best foot forward in his debut with the team in Week 1 against the New York Giants after he won the QB competition with Drew Lock in training camp and the preseason. Bridgewater has a lot of intriguing weapons in which to work with, including Courtland Sutton, who missed the vast majority of the 2020 season after tearing his ACL. The 28-year-old has become more of a dink-and-dunk game manager at this point of his career, though, and he'll probably have a short leash early in the year if he struggles. On top of it, the Giants secondary won't make things easy on him. They allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs in 2020, making Bridgewater a poor low-end QB2 option in his debut.
