Teddy Bridgewater Injures Shin, Completes Only 11 Passes
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (shin) missed the entire second quarter of the 28-13 Week 12 win over the Los Angeles Chargers after a hard hit from safety Derwin James. Backup Drew Lock was pretty bad in his place, completing four of seven attempts for 26 yards and an interception. Lock also fumbled, but it was recovered by Denver. Bridgewater went 11-for-18 for 129 yards and a touchdown while also rushing the ball twice for 10 yards and a score. Denver didn't need to air the ball out in this one as they led all game long, and combined with his injury, Bridgewater didn't do much on Sunday. He continues to be a low-end QB2 in this low-volume passing attack, but he'll have more upside against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13 if he's able to play. Don't be surprised if Bridgewater misses some practice time next week.
