Taylor Lewan Won't Play Against Chiefs
3 years agoTennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan (concussion) has been ruled out of the Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Lewan had a scary moment last Monday night against the Buffalo Bills when he was carted off the field while immobilized on a stretcher after suffering a head injury. The good news is that Lewan avoided any serious neck injury, but he remains in the league's concussion protocol and won't play this weekend. Kendall Lamm replaced Lewan at left tackle on Monday night and is expected to get the start on quarterback Ryan Tannehill's blind side against Kansas City. The Chiefs rank dead last in the NFL with only seven sacks through six games of the season, so Lewan's absence may not be felt all that much this week.
