Taj Gibson Grabs 13 Rebounds
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves power forward Taj Gibson had himself another double-double in his team's win over the Golden State Warriors. He scored 11 points on 5-for-12 shooting to go along with 13 rebounds, two assists and a block. Matched up against the smaller Draymond Green, Gibson used his size advantage on post-ups and on the offensive glass, where he got four of his 13 rebounds. Even though Jimmy Butler (knee) is out, this does not seem to impact Gibson one way or the other. Going forward, he will continue to be a low-usage big who provides solid field goal percentage, rebounds and blocks.
