Taijuan Walker Throws Simulated Game
Arizona Diamondbacks starter Taijuan Walker (elbow) threw another successful simulated game on Tuesday as he builds arm strength. The former Seattle Mariner is recovering from Tommy John surgery back in April of 2018, and while he emerged from the start healthy, the results weren't ideal. Walker himself admitted he wasn't pleased with his command, although that doesn't seem to be a major worry. The 26-year-old made three starts before being diagnosed with an injury and subsequently undergoing surgery last April. The Diamondbacks estimate a midsummer return for Walker.
