T.Y. Hilton Contemplated Retirement
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (neck), who remains on Injured Reserve with a neck injury, said he contemplated retirement over the last few months. He decided against it after talking with former quarterback Andrew Luck, and Hilton has returned to practice the last few days. However, the 31-year-old pass-catcher has pumped the brakes on a potential return in Week 6 against the Houston Texans. Hilton had missed the previous six weeks of practice, and it's unknown what kind of role he'll have next to Michael Pittman Jr., Zach Pascal and Parris Campbell when he eventually returns. We'd expect the Colts to ease him back in. A lot will also depend on the chemistry that he has with new quarterback Carson Wentz. With all that said, Hilton won't be a lock to return to weekly fantasy relevance by the end of the season.
