Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos left Saturday's clash with Chicago due to a lower-body injury, appearing to favor his left leg. He soaked in 6:48 of action and didn't return to the game after the first period. Losing Stamkos would be a major blow for Tampa Bay, but luckily, head coach Jon Cooper noted after the game that the Lightning captain was pulled from the game for precautionary reasons. Cooper hopes to have Stamkos available Sunday versus Winnipeg. The veteran star has been cold lately, but Stamkos is still averaging a point per game through 66 outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
