Steven Adams Has An Efficient Game Against The Warriors
7 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams managed to have a pretty good game despite his team getting blown out by the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. Adams scored 14 points on an efficient 6-for-9 shooting to go along with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 33 minutes of work. The only knock on Adams right now is his free throw shooting, which has been pretty bad recently. He went just 2-for-5 from the line on Saturday and is just at 48.5 percent from the line in his last 25 games. However, if owners can stomach the free throw shooting, Adams has proven to be extremely valuable. He contributes an elite field goal percentage with solid rebound, steals and block numbers. The Thunder take on the Orlando Magic next time out, which looks like a good matchup for Adams, as the Magic rank 29th in defensive rebound percentage. As a result, expect Adams to wreak havoc on the Magic bigs, as he is the best offensive rebounder in the NBA.
