2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (knee) ran some routes in 7-on-7 work during organized team activities on Thursday and looked good. The Bergen Record's Art Stapleton thinks the speculation about Shepard not making the team this summer is very premature, and he isn't counting him out if he's healthy. The Giants beefed up their receiver depth this offseason through free agency and the draft, adding Parris Campbell, Isaiah Hodgins and rookie Jalin Hyatt, but the 30-year-old will compete for slot snaps with Campbell and Wan'Dale Robinson, who is also coming off a serious injury. Shepard tore his ACL in 2022 and has played in just 10 games the last two years due to devastating injuries, so he does face an uphill battle to regain valuable playing time.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
