Stephen Strasburg Throwing From 150 Feet
4 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (shoulder) threw from 150 feet on Tuesday and "everything went well," according to manager Dave Martinez. "We're hoping that he continues to build strength, and we can get him on the mound here real soon," Martinez said. Stras has been on the injured list since April 18 with right shoulder inflammation. It's a step in the right direction, but the 32-year-old right-hander will need to get back on a mound before he gets closer to activation. Strasburg got off to a rough start to the season before his injury, allowing six earned runs while striking out 12 and walking 10 in 13 2/3 innings pitched in two starts. He should remain stashed in all fantasy leagues until he returns.
