Steelers Re-Sign Cornerback James Pierre
2 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers re-signed cornerback James Pierre to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday after they didn't tender him as a restricted free agent last week. Pierre will now return for his fourth year in Pittsburgh. After entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2020, the 26-year-old defensive back has recorded 86 tackles (65 solo), two interceptions, eight passes defensed, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 50 games played (six starts). Pierre will continue to provide depth for the Steelers secondary while also contributing on special teams in 2023.
