Steelers Officially Acquire Allen Robinson II In Trade
2 years agoWide receiver Allen Robinson II has passed his physical with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday, and the trade with the Los Angeles Rams is now official. In addition to Robinson, the Steelers acquired a seventh-round pick (No. 251) in this year's draft for a seventh-rounder (No. 234). The Rams will pay $10.25 million of the remaining $15.25 million guaranteed owed to A-Rob in 2023. The 29-year-old was a big disappointment in his only season with LA, catching 33 passes for only 339 yards and three touchdowns in 10 starts, but it didn't help his cause that quarterback Matthew Stafford was injured for much of the year. Robinson should be healthy coming off a stress fracture in his foot, and he'll provide depth behind Diontae Johnson and George Pickens. He could be more productive in Pittsburgh, but fantasy managers should probably take a wait-and-see approach.
